Monitoring included on every support plan

MikroTik experts, on the end of a South African phone line.

MikroTik gives you enterprise capability at entry-level prices. What it does not give you is somebody local to call when a link drops at 4pm on a Friday. That is what we are for.

What we do

Everything MikroTik, and nothing else.

From a single router that needs configuring properly to a multi-site network carrying your whole business.

Remote & onsite support

An engineer who knows RouterOS, reachable when something breaks. Most issues are resolved remotely within the hour; when they are not, we come out.

How support works →

Hotspot & public WiFi

Captive portals with RADIUS for hotels, lodges, schools, campsites and events — including vouchers, bandwidth control and guest isolation that actually holds.

Hotspot solutions →

Point-to-point links

Licensed and unlicensed wireless between sites — farms, factories, game reserves and satellite offices — surveyed, aligned and documented.

Wireless links →

Security hardening

A MikroTik out of the box is not a secure MikroTik. We close management exposure, rebuild firewall rules and bring you in line with POPIA obligations.

Hardening →

ISP & WISP engineering

PPPoE and hotspot subscriber management, queue trees, BGP and OSPF, CGNAT and upstream peering — designed by people who run a network of their own.

ISP services →

Proactive monitoring

We watch your routers so you do not have to. Most of our clients hear about a problem from us before they notice it themselves.

The difference

Most support is reactive. Ours starts before you call.

Every support plan includes our own monitoring platform, connected to your routers over the MikroTik API. It polls every device on your network once a minute and tells us the moment something is wrong — a link down, a router running hot, a device that rebooted overnight, a firmware version drifting out of line.

That changes the conversation. Instead of you phoning us to report an outage, we phone you to say it is already being dealt with.

Alerts, not dashboards nobody opens

Thresholds are set per device and per client. When one trips, an engineer is notified — not a screen in an empty room.

Configuration backups

Nightly exports of every device, stored and compared. A failed router becomes a 30-minute recovery instead of a rebuild from memory.

A monthly report you can act on

Availability per device, incidents, what changed and what we recommend next. Evidence that the retainer is doing something.

Getting started

Four steps to a network you stop worrying about.

  1. A free review call

Thirty minutes on the phone. You describe what you have and what keeps going wrong; we tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.

  2. Audit and documentation

We map what is actually deployed — devices, firmware, configuration, exposure — and give you a written picture. Often the first time anyone has had one.

  3. Fix, harden, monitor

We work through what the audit found in priority order, then connect your devices to monitoring so nothing quietly regresses.

  4. Ongoing support

A named engineer, an agreed response time, and a monthly report. Cancel with 30 days' notice if it is not earning its keep.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do you only work on MikroTik?

Yes. That is the point of us. We do not split our attention across five vendors, so we know RouterOS behaviour, its quirks between versions, and the failure modes that generic IT support companies spend billable hours discovering.

How quickly can you help?

On a support plan, within your agreed response time — four business hours on Essential, two on Professional. Without a plan we help on a best-effort basis, usually the same day.

Do we have to give you access to our network?

For remote support, yes — typically a read-only monitoring account restricted to our IP, and a secure tunnel for hands-on work. We will not ask you to expose a management port to the internet, and we will tell you if your current setup already does.

Do you work outside KwaZulu-Natal?

Remote support covers all of South Africa. Onsite work is scheduled nationwide; travel outside KwaZulu-Natal is quoted per visit.

Can you take over a network somebody else built?

That is most of our work. We start with an audit so you get a documented picture of what you actually have before anyone changes anything.

Tell us what your network is doing.

A half-hour call costs you nothing and usually surfaces at least one thing worth fixing. If we are not the right fit we will say so.
