About us

Engineers who run networks, not a call centre.

We started this because there was an obvious gap. MikroTik equipment is everywhere in South Africa, the documentation is online and excellent, and support from the manufacturer is a forum post and a time zone away. What was missing was somebody local to call who genuinely knows the platform.

We use what we sell

We are not a reseller who took a MikroTik course. We operate a subscriber wireless network of our own, built on RouterOS, with the subscriber management, queueing and hotspot infrastructure that goes with it.

That matters more than a certificate. Running a production network means we have already met the failure modes your network will eventually find — at our own expense, on our own weekends.

Small on purpose

You will deal with the engineer working on your network, not an account manager relaying messages. There is a limit to how many clients that model supports, and we would rather hit it than dilute it.

How we work

  • We document before we change anything
  • We tell you what a job will cost before we start it
  • We put changes in writing and keep a record of them
  • We hand over configurations that you own and can take elsewhere
  • We say when something is outside our competence

What we will not do

  • Lock you in with configuration only we understand
  • Open a management port to the internet because it is quicker
  • Quote for hardware you do not need
  • Promise a response time we cannot hold

Where we work

Remote support covers all of South Africa and we do it every day. Onsite work is based out of KwaZulu-Natal — Durban, Pietermaritzburg and the North and South Coast are routine; the rest of the country is scheduled and quoted per visit.
